The Nebraska Enterprise Fund (NEF), Nebraska's statewide microenterprise intermediary, has collected data from program partners since 1998. Programs and NEF use this data to analyze program performance, business impacts and outcomes which may be used for marketing, program improvements and funder reports. 

In 2010, NEF launched a new secure database for program partners to utilize. NEF Database allows one-time input; user friendly screens; and the ability for programs to track information on each participant by date. NEF contracted with Buerer Computer Consulting, LLC to develop the secure database and to convert historical data to the new system for each program. 

Based on program performance and outcomes data collected by NEF, The Nebraska Department of Economic Development, in cooperation with the Nebraska Enterprise Fund, prepares a yearly report on the activities associated with LB 327 funding.
