PROGRAM ASSISTANCE
The Nebraska Enterprise Fund provides the following types of support to microenterprise development and community /economic development organizations in Nebraska:
  • Loan capital to programs that assist small /micro businesses with loans (it’s an open application cycle for NEF loans to programs). 
  • Operational grants to microenterprise and small business support organizations via a competitive process that rewards solid performance and provides incentives for innovation and helps build the statewide network.
  • Technical assistance to local microenterprise and small business support organizations, including one-on-one advice regarding program operations, financing products, and staff support particularly during transitions.
  • Group training for the staff and boards of local microenterprise and small business support organizations, focused on building skill and capacity that improves program performance and community development impact.
  • On-line resource directory, providing critical information for small and micro businesses in Nebraska, local support programs and other lenders
  • NEF provides a data management system to its Program Partners' for use in tracking performance and outcomes.
