Evergreen Loans
The Nebraska Enterprise Fund makes interest-only ("evergreen") loans for lending capital to micro programs and small community revolving funds.  This capital is then loaned to small businesses.  The maximum evergreen loan is $100,000, and all loans over $10,000 must be matched 1-to-1. These funds must be dedicated to being re-lent to individual micro business borrowers.

 
   
  Grants To Microenterprise Programs
The Nebraska Enterprise Fund issues a request for proposals (Proposals) for operating grants to micro programs yearly. These grants are used to support pre-loan and post-loan business management training and technical assistance and/or, in limited cases, as a collateral for loan pools.  Program eligibility is set out in the Proposal that is issued in the summer with grants being awarded in the fall.
