Evergreen Loans

The Nebraska Microenterprise Partnership Fund makes interest-only ("evergreen") loans for lending capital for microlending by micro programs and small community revolving funds.  This capitol is then loaned to micro businesses.
The maximum evergreen loan is $100,000, and all loans over $10,000 must be matched 1-to-1. These funds must be dedicated to being re-lent to individual micro business borrowers.

 
   
  Grants To Microenterprise Programs
   
 

The Nebraska Microenterprise Partnership Fund issues a request for proposals (Proposals) for operating grants to micro programs yearly. These grants are used to support pre-loan and post-loan business management training and technical assistance and/or, in limited cases, as a conditional "equity" grant to a micro lending organization's loan pool. Program eligibility is set out in the Proposal that is issued in July with grants being awarded by September 30th.
