The Nebraska Enterprise Fund (NEF) has been awarded a Financial Assistance grant from the Certified Development Financial Institutions Fund of the U.S. Department of Treasury. Rose Jaspersen, NEF Executive Director, said, “ The CDFI funding is a valuable source of dollars for making loans to businesses/program partners and also provides dollars to help cover operational costs.”

The Nebraska Enterprise Fund has been awarded $330,000 from the State of Nebraska, Department of Economic Development for use in making loans to micro businesses in distressed areas of Nebraska. These funds were appropriated in 2011 by the State Legislature under the Business Innovation Act.
