The mission of the Nebraska
Enterprise Fund (NEF) is to make sure that Nebraska micro and
small businesses have access to capital, training and technical
assistance.
NEF is very interested in the success of start-up, existing
and growing Nebraska businesses. NEF gathers information and
success stories from the work of
NEF Program Partners.
Business profiles provided
here show the diverse business types across Nebraska that have
received assistance recently. Technical assistance or business
coaching may have been provided, or the business owner or manager
may have attended a microenterprise training program or the
business may have obtained micro business financing.
Nebraska Enterprise Fund offers direct
small /micro business financing assistance
if a referral or request comes through a NEF program partner.
NEF loan products are intended to meet financing needs by filling
crucial gaps in small business and micro-enterprise credit.
The broadened availability of this financing is crucial to a
successful, comprehensive, community development strategy in
communities across the state.
NEF provides direct links to program partners through the

and the Program
Partners /MIRS list. NEF encourages businesses to take the
time to contact and support organizations that serve their area.
It is important that potential and existing businesses utilize any
possible resource that may help them along the start-up and growth
